Set 10 Dumper Truck Revisited

One of the classic Set 10 models from the 60’s & 70’s period, this is one of the first Set 10 models I built back in 2005 when my interest in Meccano was re-ignited. It’s a fairly compact model using a chunky E15R motor as it’s power source.

The model has a number of weak spots in the build, specifically the front axle and steering and the drive chain through to the differential on the back axle. The linkages to both the clutch and gearbox where a bit ropy at best and could do with a rethink.
