About us

The Telford & Ironbridge Meccano Society (TIMS) was formed in 1991 by a group of local Meccano enthusiasts. Since then it has grown considerably and includes modellers, collectors, restorers, and inventors of all ages and abilities, from all backgrounds. There's more information on the history of TIMS in our Library.

Our aims

  • Promote all kinds of Meccano model building
  • Encourage innovation and excellence in Meccano modelling
